HLTAID011 PROVIDE FIRST AID
This is a first aid course that generally runs for a full day.
During this course you will learn how to handle life threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attacks, trauma incidents, drowning, choking and snakebites. You’ll also love learning how to assist people with everyday injuries like sprains, fractures, burns and more! This course needs to be renewed every 36 months

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This course will help refresh your knowledge on CPR and how to handle life threatening emergencies. You will learn how to perform CPR on adults and infants, do recovery rolls, use a defibrillator, and use the DRSABCD action plan and much more!
This certificate needs to be renewed every 12 months.

What to do Before?
What do you need to do before the day? Here’s what to know!
Choose your course:
To be a workplace first aider generally you will need to undertake HTLAID011 Provide First Aid every 36 months and HTLAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary resuscitation every 12 month.
Entry Requirements
Participants will generally need to be 14 years of age or older to participate.
To be able to complete the course you will need the physical capacity to perform practical demonstrations, such as 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.
We recommend that you bring something soft to sit under your knees if you find doing so uncomfortable.
Please also keep in mind that this course contains discussion of physical injuries and the management of emergencies such as major blood loss.
Get Your USI
All participants in certified First Aid Courses in Australia need to provide a Unique Student Identifier or USI. If you need to get one or need help remembering what yours is, just visit usi.gov.au
Complete Online Work
Our public courses require online pre course work. As soon as you book online you will receive a link to access your online pre course work. During the online pre course work you will enjoy watching informative videos that explain first aid essentials and complete a theory assessment.

If you do a Toowoomba first aid course you’ll see we’ve made some minor alterations to the course to ensure social distancing throughout the duration of the course. All our equipment is thoroughly sanitised to prevent transmission.
Student Rights & Responsibilities
Students attending our courses will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. All public courses require online training with face to face assessment. If you are unable to complete the online portion of the training, please contact us on 1300 115 193. Alternate options are available for on-site or private courses only.
All bookings are made subject to our standard terms and conditions. Unless otherwise arranged, all should be paid in full before the commencement of the training.
