We hold our courses at the Warwick Senior Citizens centre conveniently located at 13a Albert St Warwick. We provide Tea, Instant Coffee, and Biscuits to enjoy during breaks throughout the day. You’ll find it’s a comfortable venue for making First Aid Happen!

Warwick First Aid Course Options

Hltaid009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
What it covers:
Learn the DRSABCD action plan. You’ll learn how to check for danger, response, send for help, examine airways, check for breathing, give CPR and use a portable defibrillator. You’ll need to renew this course every 12 months

Hltaid011 Provide First Aid
What it covers:
Learn everything covered in HLTAID009 plus learn to respond to common emergencies such as choking, drowning, anaphylaxis, asthma, seizures, burns, bleeding and wounds, fractures, sprains and strains, snakebites and more. Renew every 36 months.

Entry Requirements:
You have to be at least 14 years old to join a course.
To pass this course you will need to have the physical endurance required to perform CPR for at least 2 minutes on the floor. You might want to bring a pillow to cushion your knees while you do this.
Reminder
Don’t forget that this course has discussions of physical injuries and emergency situations, such as major blood loss.
Covid-19
We’ve made some minor alterations to the course to ensure social distancing throughout the duration of the course, including our sanitised equipment and check in codes.
Unique Student Identifiers
In order to participate in a First Aid course, you’ll need a USI. If you don’t have one or need to refresh your memory on what your number is, visit usi.gov.au.
Online Component
To maximize your learning experience from our online public courses, you will have to complete some online video lessons before the day starts. You’ll also need to complete an online assessment. As soon as you book online, you will receive a link to access your pre course work. And by the time those courses start, you will be an expert on first aid essentials and ready to ace the day!
Student Rights & Responsibilities
Students attending our courses will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. All public courses require online training with face to face assessment. If you are unable to complete the online portion of the training, please contact us on 1300 115 193. Alternate options are available for on-site or private courses only.
All bookings are made subject to our standard terms and conditions. Unless otherwise arranged, all should be paid in full before the commencement of the training.
All training is delivered in partnership with Allens Training PTY LTD (RTO #90909), who will issue your nationally recognised certificates.
